DESCRIPTION:To register – https://gallatincommunitygunclub.org/class/class-registration-uscca-womens-basic-handgun-1-0/ \nCourse Overview \nWomen’s Basic Handgun 1.0 is an introductory handgun course designed to help women build confidence\, safety awareness\, and foundational shooting skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. This class covers firearm safety\, safe gun handling\, handgun terminology\, proper grip and stance\, sight alignment\, trigger control\, and other core marksmanship fundamentals. Students will also learn how to safely load\, unload\, and manipulate a semi-automatic pistol while gaining hands-on experience through dry-fire and live-fire exercises. No prior experience is required\, and the class is focused on safety\, learning\, and building confidence at your own pace. \nClass Details \nRegistration Requirements: None\, this class is open to club members and non-members. \nClass Prerequisite: None\, but this class is a prerequisite for the more advanced courses. If you have never shot before\, are a beginner\, or new gun owner\, we encourage you to take our Intro to Firearms class. \nClass Requirements: \n\nState land requires a conservation license. A conservation license can be purchased on the FWP website for $8.00.\nStudents are encouraged to provide their firearms. If they do not own one\, the club may be able to provide a loaner for the class.\n\nLecture Class Requirements: \n\nFirearm (in a range bag)\n2 mags\nLeave ammunition either in your car for lecture class\n\nRange Class Requirements: \n\nFirearm\nRange bag\nMags – at least two for each gun\nMagazine carriers/pouches – if you have them. No holsters\, please.\n300 rounds of ammo per person\nSpeed loader\nEar protection\nEye protection (sunglasses are okay)\nWater Bottle + Snack\nChair\n\nClass Location: Class location will be provided upon registration confirmation. \nClass Fee: $50.00 \n\nClass fees help cover classroom and course materials.\nClass payment is due at booking via credit card.\nCancellations & Refunds: If you need to cancel your registration\, please email us at admin@gallatincommunitygunclub.org. Refunds are available with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled class or event.
