SUMMARY:Rough & Ready First Aid for the Protester
DESCRIPTION:When: March 8\, 2026 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm\nWhere: First Presbyterian Church\, 26 West Babcock Street\, Bozeman \nReadiness and safety are the priorities for all of us out there protesting. There will be a training at the First Presbyterian Church (Willson & Babcock) Fellowship Hall (use the Babcock door\, then go downstairs) on Sunday\, February 8th from 12:00-1:00p. Outfitted with a basic first aid kit and the knowledge of when to use it and when to call 911\, our protests will be much safer. \nIn this class\, we will go through medical problems we might encounter and develop a beginner-level of knowledge and list for a first aid kit. Topics: General information\, patient documentation\, signs of stroke\, signs of heart attack\, signs of hypoglycemia\, dealing with seizures\, burns and chemical burns\, pepper spray\, heat exhaustion\, heat stroke\, hypothermia\, gunshot wound\, car accident\, mass casualty events.
