DESCRIPTION:Because one protest isn’t enough to protect our democracy\, join Indivisible Bozeman for the next NO KINGS event! Our vision is a solid\, stationary line of 1000s of people stretching down Main Street! \nWhen: Saturday\, October 18th from 12-1pm\nWhere: Main Street\, between Rouse Avenue and Willson Avenue\, Bozeman \nWhat to do: \n\nGo to Main St. in downtown Bozeman\nPick a spot on the north or south side of Main St. between Rouse Ave. and Willson Ave.\nSpread out but stay visible\nHold signs\, chant\, sing\, wave at cars\, cheer at passersby\nPlease stay on the sidewalk but don’t block the sidewalk for pedestrian traffic\nBring your own flair to the mix (last time we had a whole Handmaids choir\, a circus-type ringmaster\, and a bike parade!)\nIf you can’t make it to the protest\, drive by and give us a honk and a wave!\nFollow the law and keep it peaceful\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible Bozeman and No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind\, including those legally permitted\, should not be brought to events.
