Bozeman City Mayor Candidates and WARD Forums
Join us for a lively evening to learn important information about the Bozeman City Mayoral candidates and the WARD (Water Adequacy for Residential Development) Initiative on Thursday, October 9th from 6-8pm at the Bozeman Library.
Meet the Candidates for Bozeman City Mayor. Three candidates are competing to be elected Mayor. The elected person will serve two years as Deputy Mayor and then take office as Mayor for the final two years of their term. The candidates are: Douglas Fisher, John Meyer and Brendan O’Connor. The first session of the evening will feature the three candidates in a 45 minute program.
The second half of the evening will be a Ballot Initiative Forum: WARD: Water Adequacy for Residential Development. The WARD people who created the Ballot Initiative will present the background, process and goals of the program. A representative from SWMBIA (Southwest Montana Building Industry Association) will present an opposing viewpoint. The audience is encouraged to bring questions to the event and read more about the ballot initiative at Bozeman Water Adequacy Ballot Initiative.
This forum is sponsored by League of Women Voters Bozeman and Bozeman Public Library.
