This workshop is for people who feel like their minds are stuck in anxiety or rumination loops — replaying conversations, predicting worst-case scenarios, or feeling unsettled when the world around us feels uncertain or chaotic. Darcie Warden is offering a free workshop with techniques for calming your mind on Saturday, April 25th from 2:30-4:30p in the Community Room at the Bozeman Public Library. Free Workshop for People Who are Anxious or Ruminating!

The focus of the workshop is learning how to find calm and center within ourselves even when the outside world feels chaotic. Through simple practices that work with the nervous system, participants will learn ways to step out of the mental spiral, reconnect with their body, and regain a sense of grounding, clarity, and personal agency in the moment.

Participants can expect:

  • A welcoming, low-pressure environment
  • A short explanation of why the mind gets stuck in anxiety loops
  • Gentle movement and breath practices that calm the nervous system (no yoga experience needed)
  • Simple tools people can use to return to center and calm when life feels overwhelming=

What people will take away

Participants will leave with a better understanding of what’s happening in their mind and body when anxiety shows up, along with practical tools to help them find calm within, think more clearly, and respond to life with greater steadiness and agency.

What to bring

  • A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on (no yoga experience needed)
  • Journal/notebook and pen
  • Water bottle

Darcie Warden a somatic anxiety coach and yoga therapist based in Bozeman, and she works with people who feel caught in rumination, overwhelm, or big life transitions. Her work focuses on helping people understand what their anxiety is trying to communicate and reconnect with their inner steadiness and self-trust.

This workshop is  a free community resource, open to anyone who might find it helpful.
