What’s New For Montana Elections – Eric Semerad & Jasmine Hall

Eric Semerad, Gallatin County Clerk and Recorder/Election Administrator, and Jasmine Hall, Election Manager, will speak at the September 22nd (Monday) League of Women Voters semi-monthly meeting, starting at 11:45a. The meeting takes place at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2118 South Third Avenue.

Semarad and Hall will present information concerning a proposal being considered by the County Commission to have the Elections Officer be an appointed position rather than an elected one, and also information concerning the new election laws passed by the last legislature, where these laws stand in terms of litigation, and what we should know when registering voters.
