This women-led self-defense education program is designed to promote personal safety, confidence, and risk reduction, while remaining open to participants of all genders. Through structured, instructor-led instruction, participants learn threat awareness, boundary setting, and practical physical self-defense strategies, including techniques for striking and safely disengaging from common holds. The course concludes with education on the responsible use of the Soul DefendHer smart pepper spray as an additional personal safety option, with an emphasis on informed decision-making and situational awareness.

We will also cover some common questions in the purchasing process and criteria for purchasing a gun in Montana. Through the month of March, Gallatin Community Gun Club is hosting a Socks & Gloves Drive to help keep our neighbors warm. New socks and gloves are some of the most needed (and least donated!) items.

Basic Pistol is an educational program designed to promote safe and responsible handgun use through classroom learning and supervised range training. Participants build foundational skills in accuracy, firearm operation, and safe handling through structured, instructor-led exercise. The course fee is $50 and participants must be Gallatin Community Gun Club members.
